Dr. Kennedy Walls is a Health Scientist with Benchmark Risk Group. Dr. Walls completed a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she specialized in toxicogenomic, molecular epidemiology, and precision environmental health research. Her primary areas of expertise include human health and ecological risk assessment, risk communications, and environmental regulatory policy. She has overseen dozens of human health and ecological risk assessments conducted at hazardous waste sites across the Midwest. These comprehensive risk assessments evaluated contaminant fate and transport, exposure routes, and hazardous substance toxicology. Primary chemicals of interest include heavy metals, PCBs, VOCs, PFAS compounds, and dioxins. Dr. Walls also has research experience in virology, microbiology, biochemistry, cancer biology, and pharmacology.
