Bio

Ms. Mirra Chinta is an Associate Health Scientist with Benchmark Risk Group. She completed her MPH specializing in Environmental Health and Epidemiology from Emory University. Her primary areas of training and areas of expertise include reproductive epidemiology, biostatistics, and metabolomics.

Ms. Chinta completed her graduate thesis with the Michigan PBB Registry at Emory University, where she evaluated ovarian cyst prevalence in relation to serum PBB-153 and PCB levels among women in the registry. She additionally led a study evaluating sex-specific depression and anxiety outcomes in relation to PBB-153 and PCB exposures. Through her studies and coursework, Ms. Chinta is experienced in working with large datasets, studying transgenerational effects of exposure, and using various statistical modeling techniques.

Ms. Chinta is interested in using environmental epidemiology methods to better understand how environmental hazards can affect population level health outcomes.
